Khartoum: The Sudanese National Council for Medical and Health Professions convened a professional forum via video conference on Saturday to discuss the organizational structure of hospitals. The forum, which drew wide participation from medical professionals in Sudan and abroad, examined hospital roles, administrative hierarchies, and internal communication mechanisms.
According to Sudan News Agency, among the key recommendations, the forum called for: strengthening the Council's supervisory role over health institutions; enhancing medical staff training; establishing specialized crisis response teams; adopting effective hospital-specific organizational frameworks; setting professional standards; and accelerating digital transformation to improve service quality.
