Damascus: Information Minister Hamza al-Mustafa has announced the completion of the preliminary design for what is set to be Syria’s most advanced and largest news studio. The design, aimed at revolutionizing the country’s television industry, marks a significant milestone in enhancing Syria’s media infrastructure.
According to Syrian Arab News Agency, Minister al-Mustafa revealed that the technical studies have been finalized, and a leading company has been tasked with developing the design. The studio will be housed within the General Organization of Radio and Television. This project is expected to host around 15 news bulletins and various programs each day, further accommodating the needs of both the Syrian News Channel and Syrian Satellite TV.
The minister emphasized the challenges involved in establishing a robust television media infrastructure, highlighting the commitment of the team to build on solid principles that ensure sustainability and adaptability in the rapidly evolving media landscape. The completion of this studio is seen as a crucial step in concluding the trial broadcasts of the Syrian News Channel and enhancing the quality of select programs for Syrian Satellite TV.
