Al-dabbah: The representative of the Executive Manager of Al-Dabbah Locality, Mohammed Ahmed Musa, received a large relief convoy sent by Doctors of Humanitarian Aid Charity-Australia in support of displaced persons (IDPs) from Al-Fashir, the capital of North Darfur, currently sheltered at AZhary Al-Mubark area in Al-Affadh. The convoy’s reception was attended by the camp and emergency committee alongside several locality officials.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Commissioner of Doctors of Humanitarian Aid Charity in the Northern State, Omer Abd-Elrahman Omer, stated that the convoy included diverse food baskets containing sugar, flour, lentils, oil, and onions.
He noted that the assistance targets 180 displaced families in Al-Affadh camp and highlighted the organization’s continued presence in Tawila camp to monitor conditions of the IDPs and provide essential services.
He reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to sustaining support for displaced persons in Al-Affadh, stressing that this convoy represents the beginning of a series of aid shipments scheduled for the coming period.
