Amman: Minister of Health Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim participated today via video conference in the sessions of the Supreme Committee of the Arab Council for Medical Specializations, held in Jordan. In his address, the minister underscored the importance of Arab cooperation in developing health systems and enhancing the capabilities of medical personnel, noting that the Arab Board serves as a leading platform for exchanging expertise and unifying medical standards.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting reviewed the Council’s five-year strategy concluding in 2025 and presented the core pillars of the new five-year strategy for 2026-2030. The committee also discussed several new training courses in emergency and disaster management, which will be supported by the League of Arab States for participating countries.
In his speech, the minister highlighted Sudan’s strong commitment to training and upgrading the competencies of health personnel in line with regional and international standards, stressing his country’s eagerness to adopt successful Arab experiences to further develop health services.
