Rabak: Minister of Health Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim arrived in Rabak, the capital of White Nile State, to evaluate the region’s health situation. His visit follows a trip from North Kordofan State and is focused on addressing the healthcare needs in the area.
According to Sudan News Agency, the minister was welcomed at Kosti’s western entrance by Lieutenant General Gamar-Eddin Mohamed Fadl Al-Mawla, Wali of White Nile State, and various state government members. During a State Government Council meeting, the minister received a comprehensive briefing on multiple aspects of the state’s health situation. This included discussions on primary healthcare programs, health emergencies, medical supplies, and the operation of diagnostic centers catering to kidney, cardiac, and oncology services.
The Health Minister expressed appreciation for the state government’s efforts to improve the health sector and localize medical services. He confirmed his ministry’s dedication to supplying the necessary support for the health sector and enhancing the healthcare services available to the public.
Wali Gamar-Eddin Mohamed Fadl Al-Mawla emphasized the significance of the minister’s visit. He noted that it bolsters health sector frameworks and programs, identifies challenges facing health institutions, and strengthens the state government’s initiatives to localize treatment, manage specialized centers, and provide rare medical equipment.
