Doha: Gold prices rose on Thursday, supported by lower crude oil prices and a weaker dollar. Spot gold increased by 0.4% to $4,450.16 per ounce, while US gold futures for August delivery saw a gain of 0.2%, reaching $4,477.
According to Qatar News Agency, other precious metals also experienced gains. Spot silver went up by 0.8% to $73.26 per ounce. Platinum witnessed a rise of 0.2%, bringing its price to $1,863.25. Meanwhile, palladium climbed 0.5% to $1,307.67.
