El obeid: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Commander of the Mobile Command, General Yassir Al-Atta, affirmed that the Armed Forces and supporting forces are continuing combat operations with resolve and determination until decisive victory is achieved across the country.
According to Sudan News Agency, during his inspection of the El Obeid forward positions and the 5th Infantry Division command, General Al-Atta paid tribute to the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity. He described them as martyrs of a proud and valiant nation, offering prayers for mercy upon them, a speedy recovery for the wounded, and freedom for detainees, abductees, prisoners, and the forcibly disappeared.
General Al-Atta congratulated members of the joint forces, commending their sacrifices for Sudan's unity and dignity and the safety of its people. He conveyed greetings from the Commander-in-Chief and the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces to all field commanders in El Obeid, including the 14th Infantry Division (Mountain Lions), the 54th Brigade Al-Dalang, Abu Jubaiha 10th Division, and various operational control sectors, as well as the General Intelligence Service forces, support brigades, joint forces, and Al-Hagana (5th Infantry Division-El Obeid).
The steadfastness and sacrifices of the 5th Infantry Division (Al-Hagana forces) were praised by General Al-Atta, describing them as a cornerstone of the Sudanese Armed Forces. He commended the victories they have achieved, strengthening the morale of the Sudanese people.
