Khartoum: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, denounced the frantic efforts of the Abu Dhabi regime-the regional sponsor of the terrorist Janjaweed militia-against Sudan during the recent Non-Aligned Movement meetings in New York.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Foreign Ministry highlighted concerns over the actions taken by the Abu Dhabi regime, which were perceived as attempts to undermine Sudan’s position and interests at the international gathering. The statement pointed out the involvement of the Janjaweed militia, which has been linked to various destabilizing activities in the region.
The Ministry’s statement called for an immediate cessation of these efforts and urged international bodies to address the actions of the Abu Dhabi regime. The Ministry emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region, urging other nations to recognize and counteract the influence of entities supporting such militias.
The Non-Aligned Movement meetings provided a platform for Sudan to voice its concerns and gather support from other member states. The Foreign Ministry’s statement is seen as a step towards rallying international attention and response to the activities attributed to the Abu Dhabi regime.
