Foreign Ministers of UAE and Bahrain Discuss Regional Developments

Abu dhabi: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed regional developments with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani in a phone call on Wednesday. During this conversation, both ministers addressed pressing issues concerning regional security and stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministers strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain with missiles and drones. These attacks were a significant point of concern, prompting both leaders to emphasize a unified stance against threats to regional peace.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan reiterated that the security of the Kingdom of Bahrain is an essential component of the security of the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The discussion underscored the commitment of the UAE to standing in solidarity with Bahrain and reinforcing the security framework within the GCC.
