Foreign Minister Meets Kuwaiti Ambassador Amid Middle East Tensions

Khartoum: Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohi-Eddin Salem on Wednesday received the Ambassador of Kuwait to Sudan, Dr. Fahd Mashari Al-Dhafiri. The meeting underscored the ongoing diplomatic engagement between the two nations amidst regional challenges.

According to Sudan News Agency, the Kuwaiti ambassador expressed his country's appreciation for Sudan's stance on the ongoing war in the Middle East. He noted that Sudan's position was clear, frank, and strong, reflecting solidarity with Kuwait and other Arab peoples facing attacks, despite the hardships Sudan itself is experiencing. The ambassador highlighted that Sudan's position mirrors the support Sudanese people are known for toward their brethren.

Furthermore, Dr. Fahd Mashari Al-Dhafiri affirmed Kuwait's support and solidarity with Sudan during the upcoming reconstruction phase. The meeting emphasized Kuwait's commitment to assisting Sudan in navigating its future challenges.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation highlighted the strong relations between the two countries and their peoples.
