TSC Member Dr. Nuwara Reviews Sudanese Red Crescent Society Plans and Programs

Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nuwara Abu Mohamed Tahir, reviewed the plans, programs, and projects of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, along with its recent achievements and the most salient impediments anticipated to impact its operations in the forthcoming phase. This interaction took place during her meeting with the Society's President, Abdelrahman Bilal Al-Eid. According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Nuwara reaffirmed the TSC's commitment to supporting the Society and removing all impediments hindering the fulfillment of its humanitarian mandate. The meeting highlighted the significance of the Society's role in delivering humanitarian aid and the challenges it faces. The President of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society expressed his appreciation for the TSC Member's sustained support for the Society's programs and activities. He emphasized the Society's dedication to achieving further progress and elevating its standing in voluntary humanitarian work in Sudan. He also mentioned plans to implement several developmental and relief projects that are currently awaiting donor funding.
