Munich: Foreign Minister Dr. Ali Youssef met on Saturday during his participation in the 61st session of the Munich Security Conference with his Turkish counterpart, Mr. Hakan Fidan. The meeting focused on strengthening and expanding the bilateral relations between Sudan and Turkey across multiple sectors.
According to Sudan News Agency, discussions highlighted Sudan’s gratitude towards Turkey for its efforts and diplomatic engagements aimed at promoting stability in Sudan. The meeting also acknowledged the humanitarian assistance extended by Turkey to the Sudanese people, emphasizing the importance of such support in overcoming current challenges.
In response, the Turkish Foreign Minister reiterated Turkey’s commitment to Sudan’s stability and unity, recognizing its significance in both the continent and the region. The diplomatic dialogue underscored a mutual interest in fostering a cooperative relationship that benefits both nations.
