Khartoum: Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohieddin Salim, met on Wednesday in his office with the Secretary-General of the Islamic Call Organization, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Adam. During the meeting, they discussed the organization's ongoing activities and future plans.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Adam reviewed the organization's activities both domestically and internationally, highlighting its dedication to humanitarian and outreach missions. Despite previous challenges, he confirmed that the organization has returned to its main headquarters in Khartoum and resumed normal operations. He also expressed gratitude to the Government of Sudan for its continuous facilitation and support since the organization's establishment in 1980.
Ambassador Mohieddin Salim commended the efforts of the Islamic Call Organization in various fields and welcomed its return to Khartoum after the disruptions caused by the war. He reassured the organization's leadership of the government's commitment to providing ongoing support and facilitation to ensure the success of its programs and initiatives. The Foreign Minister also expressed optimism regarding the upcoming meeting of the organization's Board of Trustees, hoping it would result in positive outcomes that enhance its role in serving communities within and beyond Sudan.
