Ooredoo: European stocks closed mixed Thursday: with defense stocks rising following US President Donald Trump's call for increased US military spending.
According to Qatar News Agency, the pan-European Stoxx 600 index fell 1.39 points, or 0.2 percent, to close at 603.6 points. Meanwhile, France's CAC 40 index saw a rise of 9.55 points, or 0.12 percent, closing at 8,243 points.
Britain's FTSE 100 index experienced a slight decline, slipping 3.52 points, or 0.04 percent, to close at 10,044 points. In contrast, Germany's DAX index rose marginally by 3.65 points, or 0.01 percent, to finish at 25,125 points.
