Khartoum: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries, Dr. Ammar Al-Sheikh Idris, stated that the meetings of the Egyptian-Sudanese Joint Trade and Industry Committee, held on December 28-29, confirmed the establishment of modern abattoirs for meat production and processing between Egypt and Sudan, for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Undersecretary clarified in press statements today that the meetings addressed trade and industrial relations between the two countries. Agreement was reached to increase bilateral trade, and the meetings emphasized the exchange of experts and training in the fields of veterinary quarantine, in addition to cooperation in the production of veterinary vaccines and cooperation in the field of feed industries.
