Asmara: Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki today received Dr. Kamel Idris, Prime Minister, at his residence, as part of the latter’s visit to the country. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the course of bilateral relations between the two countries and explored prospects for strengthening, developing, and enhancing them in a manner that serves the interests and welfare of the two brotherly peoples. They also discussed issues and topics of mutual concern affecting the security and stability of the region.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting underscored the depth of bilateral relations and the commitment to enhancing joint cooperation across various fields, as well as coordination between the two countries in all regional and international forums and matters concerning the Horn of Africa.
