Dr. Kamil Idris Directs Security Measures in Khartoum State

Port Sudan: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil El-Tayib Idris directed the intensification of police deployment in Khartoum State and the securing of all neighborhoods, government sites, and strategic facilities in the state. This decision was made during his meeting on Sunday at his office in Port Sudan with the Director General of Police Forces, General Police Khalid Hassan Mohi-Eddin.

According to Sudan News Agency, the Prime Minister was briefed on the overall security situation across all states of the country and the police forces’ work plan for the coming period. Dr. Idris emphasized the necessity of controlling and regulating foreign presence in the country, with particular attention to Khartoum State. He highlighted that securing the state and ensuring the provision of all services are among the government’s top priorities in the forthcoming period.
