El obeid: Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, Director General of the General Intelligence Service, held a meeting yesterday evening with the North Kordofan State Security Committee.
According to Sudan News Agency, Professor Abdul Khaliq Abdul Latif Wada'a Allah Wali, head of the North Kordofan State Security Committee, confirmed that the meeting focused on reviewing the security, criminal, and operational situation in the region. The discussions also covered the implementation of the 2025 plan. The committee was reassured about the current security situation and the management of security and administrative affairs. Additionally, the meeting addressed security operations aimed at expanding the security perimeter within the state, alongside ensuring food and medicine security and the provision of strategic services and goods essential for people's livelihoods.
The meeting also included a review of the coordination between executive and security government agencies and local communities. This coordination supports the advanced control and the Battle of Karameh. Professor Abdul Khaliq emphasized that the visit represents a positive development, providing reassurance to citizens. He also highlighted that the armed forces maintain the initiative in military operations in the North Kordofan axis.
