Khartoum: The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers has officially declared the commencement of the Eid Al-Adha holiday, which will start on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, and will last until Saturday, May 30, 2026.
According to Sudan News Agency, work across the nation is expected to resume on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in alignment with the existing regulations that outline official working days and hours. The announcement also mentioned that the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan is set to provide directives concerning the operations of the banking sector throughout the holiday period.
The Secretariat expressed its congratulations to the citizens of Sudan on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, with hopes that the festival returns amid an atmosphere of security, peace, and stability in the country.
