Accra: Ambassador Gariballah Khidir presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Sudan to the Republic of Ghana to His Excellency Mr. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, to the President of the Republic of Ghana. He wished for President Mahama’s good health and well-being and expressed hopes for the continued progress and prosperity of Ghana and its people. The TSC President emphasized Sudan’s commitment to enhancing cooperation between the two countries across various fields.
President Mahama congratulated Ambassador Khidir on the confidence placed in him by Sudan’s leadership. He extended his sincere greetings to the TSC President and expressed his wishes for the Ambassador’s success, promising the support and cooperation of the Ghanaian government. President Mahama reaffirmed Ghana’s support for the unity and sovereignty of Sudan and pledged efforts to help achieve security, stability, and peace in the country.
