London: Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin Adam, the Director General of the Ministry of Health in Al-Qadarif State, has confirmed the Ministry's dedication to bolstering the health infrastructure by widening the range of treatment services and refurbishing rural hospitals to satisfy the real needs of citizens and elevate the quality of health care.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin Adam made these remarks during a field visit to Al-Salam Hospital in Al-Qadarif Municipality and Kassab Rural Hospital in Al-Qallabat Al-Gharbiyah locality. During his visit, he examined the departments of both hospitals, identifying their most urgent needs in various areas and specialties, with a particular focus on emergency services, obstetrics and gynecology, and kala-azar treatment. He disclosed that there are ongoing arrangements with several partners to rehabilitate health facilities, especially in rural locales.
The Secretary highlighted that numerous hospitals in the state have not seen renovations for years, necessitating collaborative efforts to restore them to meet the required technical standards. During his tour, he received comprehensive briefings from hospital administrations about the challenges they encounter and the support necessary to enhance the services offered.
The minister reiterated his unwavering commitment to eliminating all barriers, striving to localize treatment within the state, and advancing the health infrastructure to guarantee the delivery of comprehensive therapeutic and preventive services that align with the aspirations of citizens and conform to approved health standards.
