Al-Dabba Executive Welcomes Support Convoy from Halfa for Al-Fashir Arrivals

Al-dabba: The Executive Director of Al-Dabba Locality, Mr. Mohamed Saber Kashkash, alongside members of the Security Committee, the Vice President of the Popular Resistance, and several executive, security, military, and popular leaders, welcomed a support convoy at the Azhari Al-Mubarak shelter in Al-Afad. This convoy, aiding those arriving from Al-Fashir, originated from Halfa Locality.

According to Sudan News Agency, the Executive Director expressed gratitude to all components of Halfa locality, acknowledging it as the first to provide shelter and support when the Sudanese people sought refuge at the crossings. He emphasized the united efforts of the Sudanese people in supporting Al-Fashir's populace, noting that Al-Afad in the north, along with the needs of the newcomers, is sustained by the contributions from all over Sudan.

Professor Jamal Abu Bakr Abdul Qadir, representing the Executive Director of Halfa Locality, stated that the locality's government, citizens, and various societal sectors will persist in aiding newcomers from Fashir Sultan. He highlighted that this convoy is the sixth of its kind, valued at approximately two hundred and fifty million pounds and consisting of over sixteen items, asserting that these ongoing convoys dispel any claims of racial discrimination.

Major General Suleiman Mohamed Suleiman, leader of the popular resistance in Halfa locality, pointed out that the convoy included essential supplies, with a significant number of miners, especially from Darfur, participating. He emphasized the solidarity within the Sudanese social fabric.

Professor Hassan Al-Basir, Vice President of the Popular Resistance in Al-Dabba locality, affirmed their commitment to sharing resources with the people of Al-Fashir. He remarked that the convoy from Halfa locality represents high-quality support and is pivotal in fostering more coordination and cooperation between the two localities and across all regions of Sudan.
