Al-Burhan Asserts Unity Between People and Army to Overcome Rebellion in Al-Kalakla

Al-kalakla: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, emphasized the unity between the Sudanese people and the armed forces as the key to defeating rebel militias. Speaking after Friday prayers at Al-Sheikh Al-Hadiyya Complex in Al-Kalakla Al-Qubba, Al-Burhan commended the local residents for their resilience and commitment to resisting rebellion and injustice. According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Burhan highlighted Al-Kalakla as a model for national cohesion and stability, countering claims of instability meant to hinder citizens' return. He urged Sudanese citizens to contribute to reconstruction efforts, assuring them that conditions have stabilized in many areas. He emphasized voluntary return and mentioned plans to unite returnees during Ramadan. Al-Burhan acknowledged the sacrifices of the Sudanese people for national security and prosperity. He criticized foreign countries hosting Abdalla Hamdok and his associates, accusing them of betrayal and isolation. He warned against their return to Sudan, stating that their actions had caused suffering and that the Sudanese people would not welcome them back. Furthermore, Al-Burhan dismissed allegations of chemical weapon use by the armed forces, affirming the integrity of the national military institution. He warned of legal consequences for those attempting to defame the military's reputation. Al-Burhan concluded by warning rebels against targeting civilians and assured that the armed forces would continue to protect citizens, declaring that victory was imminent.
