Khartoum: The Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism, Khalid Al-Eisir, has denied reports circulating on social media regarding alleged remarks about journalists, describing them as unfounded.
According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Eisir stated that certain hostile actors are promoting misinformation aimed at sowing division and undermining national and professional cohesion against the militia's agenda and its supporters. He emphasized the professionalism of Sudan's press community, asserting that they would not be swayed by such 'misleading narratives.'
Al-Eisir urged the public to verify information before sharing what he termed as 'poisoned reports.' He reassured that despite these challenges, the ministry is moving forward with 'steady steps,' and such weak attempts would not deter their progress.
