Agar Chairs SPLM-N Joint Meeting in Port Sudan

Khartoum: The Chairman of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), Malik Agar, concluded a joint meeting of institutions in Port Sudan, issuing comprehensive resolutions to address the political and humanitarian conditions in the region.

According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting focused on organizational reform, implementing the peace agreement, and promoting a democratic civilian path. It condemned violations against civilians and obstacles to humanitarian access, urging the United Nations (UN) and partners to ensure aid delivery in accordance with international humanitarian law.

The meeting also advocated for the separation of political agendas from humanitarian issues, stressing the importance of refugee return and contributions from the diaspora.
