Khartoum: Acting Undersecretary and Minister of Justice, Howayda Ali Awad Al-Karim, has issued a directive to the Commercial Registrar to conduct a comprehensive review of the commercial data register. The aim of this review is to ensure that all companies listed are in compliance with legal regulations.
According to Sudan News Agency, the directive mandates the deletion of companies that have either failed to commence operations or have not regularized their status, as stipulated under Article (255) of the Companies Law of 2015, which was amended in 2025. This move is part of broader efforts to ensure adherence to legal requirements by commercial entities registered in the country.
