Khartoum: Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander Malik Agar, met on Wednesday with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohy-Eddin Salim. The meeting focused on assessing the Ministry’s performance and discussing strategies to enhance Sudan’s external relations.
According to Sudan News Agency, Minister Salim conveyed in a press statement that he updated the TSC Vice-President on the Ministry’s efforts in promoting Sudan’s international engagements. He highlighted the outcomes of Sudan’s participation, led by the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, at the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit held in Doha.
Minister Salim shared that he received directives from the TSC Vice-President to bolster the Ministry’s role in diplomacy and international cooperation. He emphasized the Government of Hope and Peace’s commitment to reconstruction, recovery, and the coordination of efforts following the established roadmap.
Ambassador Salim also mentioned that the Vice-President’s guidance will serve as a foundational reference for the Ministry’s international activities, helping to strengthen Sudan’s presence in both regional and international forums.
