Portsudan: Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander Malik Aggar, was briefed on the efforts made by the National Umma Party (NUP) in supporting and backing the Armed Forces (SAF) and standing behind them as they fight the battle of dignity and pride to eliminate the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.
According to Sudan News Agency, His Excellency underscored, during his meeting at his office in Portsudan on Sunday with the Assistant of NUP Chairman for Legal and Constitutional Affairs, Ismail Kutur Abdel-Karim, the necessity of combining governmental and popular efforts to realize peace and rally around the armed forces to vanquish the rebel terrorist RSF militia.
For his part, Ismail Kutur Abdel-Karim explained, in a press statement, that the meeting discussed national issues, developments of the situation in Sudan, the current war, and the crisis that the Sudanese people are going through, stressing the NUP support and backing for SAF, other regular forces, and armed
struggle movements in the Battle of Dignity. He also highlighted the party’s readiness to provide all initiatives to support state institutions in the post-war phase and strive to achieve peace, noting that TSC Vice-President comprehended all the issues that were raised.
