Blue Nile:The Child Welfare Council in the Blue Nile region has initiated a training program for child protection networks in partnership with UNICEF. This initiative targets displaced individuals from Qaysan Governorate, residing in the camps of Al-Rusayris, Damazin, and Baw.
According to Sudan News Agency, the training is being conducted at various sites, including Ajeeb Schools, Al-Manjalak, Al-Zahraa Basic and Secondary Schools, Juwairiya, Al-Shuhada, Al-Mak Adlan, Abu Dhar Al-Ghafari, Halima Al-Saadia, and Camps 9 and 10. These locations have been active with purposeful dialogue and engagement.
Professor Zahra Al-Sanousi, Secretary of the Regional Child Welfare Council, emphasized the importance of network training as a foundation for enhancing child protection. She highlighted the network's established experience and significant role in raising awareness and education.
The council has developed a range of activities and programs for the trainees, aiming to foster societal change and behavioral transformation. The training program continues across several camps for displaced people, characterized by active participation and a commitment from network members to apply their new skills in real-world scenarios.
