Wad al-noura: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah al-Burhan, visited Wad Al-Noura village in Al-Gezira State, offering his condolences for the martyrs of the area, which suffered violations by the Daglo militia.
According to Sudan News Agency, General Al-Burhan commended the residents of Wad Al-Noura for their sacrifice and steadfastness in defending the nation’s pride and dignity. He emphasized that his visit fulfilled a promise to the wounded in the area and served as a duty to the families of the martyrs, ensuring them that their sacrifices would not be in vain.
General Al-Burhan reaffirmed his commitment to defeating the rebel militias, vowing to continue the fight until all of Darfur is cleared. He stated that the conflict will conclude with the eradication of the last rebel, asserting that the armed forces will not cease their efforts until the rebellion is completely quelled.
He extended his admiration to the citizens
of El-Fashir, Kadugli, Al-Dalang, and Babanusa for their resilience, assuring that the armed forces, with divine support, will reach them. Additionally, Al-Burhan promised to enhance infrastructure by constructing and paving roads to connect the area with national roads.
The visit was marked by the gathering of local citizens who welcomed General Al-Burhan with chants of unity and support for the armed forces.
