Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has emphasized the importance of promoting Sudan’s foreign relations in a manner that aligns with the highest interests of the Sudanese people. This statement was made during a farewell ceremony for Sudanese ambassadors appointed to the Sultanate of Oman, Belarus, and Japan, attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Ali Youssef.
According to Sudan News Agency, Sudan’s Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Essam Awad Metwally, stated in a press release that the meeting highlighted the significance of strengthening cooperation with countries considered allies and friends. This effort is particularly crucial as Sudan prepares to begin the reconstruction process following the war initiated by Al-Dagalo’s terrorist militia against the state and its institutions. Ambassador Metwally emphasized that the ambassadors would work to reveal all parties involved in su
pporting the war against Sudan.
Ambassador Metwally further explained that the TSC President instructed the ambassadors to focus on the challenges faced by Sudanese communities abroad and to work towards resolving these issues. The ambassadors involved are Ambassador Essam Awad Metwally to the Sultanate of Oman, Ambassador Omar Al-Amin to the Republic of Belarus, and Ambassador Al-Rayah Haidoub to Japan.
