Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has stressed the importance of developing and strengthening Sudan’s foreign relations to enhance mutual interests and support the path of these relations to achieve Sudan’s higher goals. This statement was made during his farewell to Sudan’s ambassadors designated to the Republic of Mali, the Republic of Zimbabwe, the Republic of South Africa, and the Republic of Venezuela.
According to Sudan News Agency, during the farewell, Sudan’s ambassador to Mali, Khalid Shukri, mentioned that the ambassadors received directives from General Al-Burhan aimed at supporting Sudan’s foreign relations and strengthening prospects for joint cooperation. These directives are particularly significant at this stage as the country navigates its current circumstances. The focus is on serving the interests of Sudan and its people, especially in relation to neighboring African and Latin American countries.
Ambassador Shukri further expressed Sudan’s aspiration and keenness to advance and strengthen cooperation with these nations, reflecting the country’s commitment to fostering robust international partnerships.
