Antalya: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, met with President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Sudan and Sierra Leone, aiming to develop cooperation across various fields and explore new opportunities for collaboration. The discussions also covered several regional and international issues that are of mutual interest to both nations.
The two leaders expressed their commitment to enhancing ties to fulfill the aspirations of their peoples and to support joint cooperation efforts. The meeting underscored the importance of bolstering and consolidating bilateral relations.
In attendance were key officials including Ambassador Dr. Ali Youssef, Minister of Foreign Affairs; General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal, Director of the General Intelligence Service; Ambassador Nadir Youssef, Sudan’s Ambassador to Turkey; and General Mirghani Idris, Director of the Defense Industries Organization.
