Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, met on Monday with the delegation of the Misseriya Tribe Coordination at home and abroad.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Secretary-General of the Misseriya Tribe Coordination, Al-Ballah Joda, stated in a press statement that the delegation assured the Commander-in-Chief of their unwavering support for the armed forces. Joda highlighted the active participation of the Misseriya tribe’s sons on the front lines, fighting alongside the armed forces in their battle to defend national dignity and counter the terrorist militia of Al-Dagalo.
Joda acknowledged the efforts of the Armed Forces and the resilience of the Sudanese people in defending the nation’s unity and confronting conspiracies against it. He noted that the TSC President commended the Misseriya tribe’s cultural and historical contributions to the establishment of the Sudanese state.
The Secretary-General further urged all sons of the Misseriya tribe currently aligned with the rebel militia to heed the call of reason and wisdom. He encouraged them to disengage from the militia and join the ranks of the armed forces.
