Seville: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, met with Iraqi President Abdul-Latif Jamal Rasheed on the sidelines of his participation in the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development being held in Seville, Spain. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields. They also discussed regional and international developments and issues of mutual concern.
According to Sudan News Agency, TSC President affirmed the eternal nature of relations between the two countries, noting joint cooperation in all fields. He referred to Sudan’s firm and unwavering commitment to strengthening these relations in the service of the supreme interests of both countries. TSC President briefed Iraqi President on the overall developments in Sudan, efforts to achieve peace, security, and stability, and the victories achieved by the armed forces on all battlefronts, in addition to the systematic crimes committed by the Al-Dagalo terrorist militia against citizens and the vandalization of the Sudanese state’s infrastructure.
For his part, Iraqi President described Sudanese-Iraqi relations as distinguished and witnessing significant development in various fields, stressing his interest in developing and strengthening them to advance the relations to wider horizons.
