Antalya: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has met with the Head of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdul-Hamid Mohammed Al-Dabaiba, during the Antalya Diplomatic Forum 2025 in Turkey.
According to Sudan News Agency, during their meeting, the leaders discussed the bilateral relations between Sudan and Libya and explored avenues for development and strengthening these ties across different sectors. They also deliberated on the latest developments in Sudan and examined key issues of mutual interest.
The discussions underscored the necessity of unifying political positions on several regional matters. Both leaders expressed their support for efforts aimed at achieving security, stability, and peace within Sudan.
The meeting saw the attendance of Sudan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Nadir Youssef, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, Director of the General Intelligence Service, and General Mirghani Idris, Director of the Defense Industries Organization.
