Garri: President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, inspected the Military Industrialization headquarters in the Garri Zone, part of the Defense Industries System. He was accompanied by TSC Member and Assistant Commander-in-Chief, General Yassir Al-Atta, the Wali (governor) of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, and the Director of the Defense Industries System, General Mirghani Idris.
According to Sudan News Agency, General Al-Burhan observed the damage caused by the vandalism and sabotage from the Al-Dagalo militia at the military manufacturing headquarters. He emphasized the state’s commitment to rehabilitating and rebuilding the facility, which is considered an important element of Sudan’s development infrastructure.
The TSC President reiterated the state’s resolve to continue its efforts to eradicate the militia, stating that the people of Sudan are capable of reconstructing and restoring the strategic facility. He also commended the defense industries system workers for their persistent efforts to revitalize the sector in support of the national economy.
