TSC President Highlights Key Role of Mobile Command in War Efforts

Khartoum: The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, acknowledged the significant impact of the Mobile Command in directing and managing operations during the War of Dignity. He emphasized its crucial role in liberating the General Command and areas of Omdurman from the siege previously imposed by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. According to Sudan News Agency, during his participation in the Mobile Command's Holy Ramadan Iftar, Al-Burhan expressed that the return of life to Khartoum signifies a revival of Sudan's core. He remarked on the ongoing war in the Middle East, expressing concern over the continuation of conflict and urging fighters to lay down their arms. Al-Burhan also acknowledged the contributions of the Gulf States, affirming Sudan's solidarity with them and condemning any violations against their sovereignty. He stressed that the government will not allow any group to misrepresent the Arm ed Forces or the Sudanese state on matters unrelated to them, and will oppose any attempts to exploit freedom to harm the Sudanese people. He warned against actions encouraging global aggression and reiterated Sudan's commitment to peace. Al-Burhan concluded by stating that victory celebrations will be postponed until reaching specific regions, including Al-Geneina, Foro Baranga, the Triangle, Kormuk, and Geissan.
