Khartoum: President of the Transitional Sovereign Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has conducted an inspection visit to the National Records Office of Sudan in Khartoum. During the visit, he witnessed the extent of systematic devastation that the institution had suffered. TSC President toured all directorates, sections, and document warehouses, and saw the damage to some historical documents.
According to Sudan News Agency, General Al-Burhan also visited the Sudanese Book House, a prominent landmark in Khartoum, which had also been subjected to clear acts of vandalism. Furthermore, Al-Burhan inspected the premises of the Sudan Radio and Television Corporation (SRTC). He toured several studios and radio and television production centers, and was briefed on the ongoing preparations to resume work within the corporation.
