Khartoum: The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, has sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Nizar Amidi on the occasion of his election as President of the Republic of Iraq.
According to Sudan News Agency, in his message, TSC President Al-Burhan extended sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Iraqi President, expressing hope for success in fulfilling his high duties and in leading the Iraqi people toward further progress and prosperity.
He also reaffirmed his appreciation of the level of bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries, reiterating Sudan's firm commitment to strengthening and advancing these ties across all fields, in a manner that serves mutual interests and fulfils the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
