Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jabir, who also serves as Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Preparing the Environment for the Return of Citizens to Khartoum State, has emphasized the state’s commitment to rebuilding facilities damaged by the Dagalo terrorist militia. This commitment was reiterated during a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to Sudan, Fatih Yildiz.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting highlighted Turkey’s supportive role towards Sudan in multiple sectors. Lt. Gen. Jabir was informed about the potential contributions Turkey could make during the upcoming reconstruction phase. Ambassador Yildiz expressed Turkey’s readiness to assist in Sudan’s reconstruction efforts, with Turkish businessmen and contractors eager to participate in rebuilding areas devastated by the conflict.
