Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nuwara Abu Mohamed Tahir, assessed the overall situation in Khartoum State during a meeting with the Wali of Khartoum State, Ahmed Othman Hamza. The discussion focused on the state's current conditions and efforts by the government to restore essential services such as health, education, and water. The meeting also addressed the ongoing rehabilitation of the power sector following the recent large-scale return of residents.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Tahir also evaluated the preparations for the upcoming Sudanese Certificate examinations. The number of candidates has increased compared to the previous year due to Khartoum State accommodating students from the Darfur and Kordofan states. The state has implemented necessary measures to ensure a conducive environment for these examinations.
Dr. Tahir acknowledged the significant efforts made by state government institutions and community groups in supporting these initiatives.
