Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Head of the Education Services Committee of the Higher Committee for Preparing Khartoum for the Return of Citizens, Dr. Salma Abdel-Jabbar Al-Mubarak, met on Wednesday with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Ahmed Mudawi Musa. The meeting addressed ongoing arrangements to create appropriate conditions for the return of citizens to Khartoum State. It also focused on efforts to restore universities to their main campuses and rehabilitate them after the devastation caused to educational institutions by the rebel terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting underscored the importance of supporting the educational process as one of the components of knowledge and national unity. The discussions highlighted the need for coordinated efforts to facilitate the return to Khartoum, ensuring that educational institutions are prepared to resume normal operations.
It is worth noting that the meeting was part of the work of the Higher Committee for Preparing Khartoum for the Return of Citizens. This committee was established to coordinate and support the executive organ in implementing the plan for the return to Khartoum.
