Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Dr. Salma Abdel-Jabbar praised the efforts of the Sudanese Survey Authority (SSA) in demarcating borders and supporting the reconstruction process, as well as the rehabilitation of facilities destroyed by the terrorist rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.
According to Sudan News Agency, SSA Director-General Lt. Gen. Engineer Amin Mohamed Banga stated, in a press statement, that the meeting discussed the SSA role in the coming period, along with its work to promote urban development in the post-war stage.
He added that the SSA had received directives from TSC Member regarding the digital base map, aimed at strengthening and advancing work in the surveying sector. He further noted the Authority’s role in the post-war phase, explaining that the digital map would contribute to shaping Sudan’s future in education, healthcare, investment, infrastructure, and other areas.
