Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Salma Abdel-Jabbar Al-Mubarak, addressed the launch of a rehabilitation campaign for the physically disabled in Khartoum Bahri, emphasizing that the reconstruction phase is as crucial as the battle to defeat the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. She highlighted the need for combined efforts from both official and popular fronts to achieve this goal.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Salma praised the youth and members of the Union of Physically Disabled People for leading efforts to remove the effects of war and rebuild Khartoum. She acknowledged the commendable performance of Sudanese youth in supporting the armed forces and the popular resistance during the conflict, and noted their transition to reconstruction efforts with the same dedication.
Dr. Salma also shared insights into the concerns of TSC President, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, regarding youth programs and their role in the reconstruction process. She reiterated her support for the disabled and their future initiatives. Additionally, Dr. Salma mentioned that her visit to Khartoum State is part of a larger tour led by TSC Member Lt. Gen. Engineer Ibrahim Jabir, focusing on ensuring the stability of security and services as citizens return to the area and peace is restored across Sudan.
