Al-gadarif: The leadership of the Native Administration in Al-Gadarif State has called on Dr. Nawara Abu Mohammed, a Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), to adopt solutions to address Al-Gadarif’s issues and meet the needs of its citizens for the advancement of the state. This appeal was made during a meeting held in the presence of the Acting Wali (governor) of Al-Gadarif, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, and the Secretary-General of the Government, Abdel-Azim Al-Jamous.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Native Administration leaderships emphasized the necessity of enacting a framework act to unify Native Administration, reject hate speech, and strengthen the social fabric. They also expressed their support for the Government of Hope and the war effort to resolve the Battle of Dignity. Additionally, they advocated for the establishment of state and local legislative councils.
The meeting covered several other topics, and the Acting Wali of Al-Gadarif State highlighted the critical roles and responsibilities of the Native Administration in maintaining the interconnected social fabric within the state. Dr. Nawara acknowledged the Native Administration as the backbone of the state in addressing social issues and maintaining security and stability. She committed to following up on the issues raised by the Native Administration to bring them to resolution.
