Kassala: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nawara Abu Mohamed, has emphasized the pioneering role of the Police Forces in combating crime, enforcing the law, extending state prestige, and protecting community security. She also stressed the need to combat negative phenomena and implement preventive measures to protect citizens and prelude crimes.
According to Sudan News Agency, during the inauguration of the Aroma Locality Police Station, attended by Kassala State Wali (governor) Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Al-Sadig Mohamed Al-Azrag, the State Security Committee, and a number of officials, TSC Member called for activating the community role of the police in serving citizens, reinforcing the slogan “Police in the Service of the People.”
Her Excellency also inspected several service and health facilities in Aroma Locality, where she noted the Aroma Hospital’s need for equipment and supplies, and the possibility of rehabilitating, maintaining, and operating it to provide adequate health and treatment services to citizens.
For his part, the Wali of Kassala State pledged to work to overcome all impediments facing the hospital, provide treatment and medical services, and deliver quality service to citizens.
