Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nawara Abu Mohamed Mohamed Tahir, has been briefed on the efforts of the Ministry of Energy and Oil to stabilize the electricity supply and the flow of petroleum derivatives. This update was shared during her meeting with Dr. Muhi El-Din Naim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Oil.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting addressed the electricity issue in eastern Sudan, with a specific focus on Port Sudan. Dr. Naim provided TSC Member Dr. Nawara with insights into the current electricity situation in Port Sudan, upcoming electricity projects in the region, the status of oil production, and efforts to repair the Port Sudan refinery.
Dr. Naim also highlighted that he received directives from the TSC Member regarding social responsibility, emphasizing the importance of organizing it in a way that aligns with the citizens’ expectations.
