Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nawara Abu Mohamed Mohamed Tahir, met in her office with a delegation from Kassala University, led by its Vice-Chancellor, Professor Amani Abdel-Ma’rouf Bashir.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Nawara was informed about the university’s recent performance and its initiatives to establish new colleges aimed at enhancing higher education in Kassala State.
In a press statement, the Vice-Chancellor highlighted that the meeting discussed the university’s plans for an upcoming conference focused on the utilization of artificial intelligence in reconstruction and development. The conference will be held under the theme “From Destruction to Reconstruction with Sustainable Artificial Intelligence,” in collaboration with Mashareb global company.
The Vice-Chancellor further mentioned that Dr. Nawara emphasized the importance of prioritizing the people of Eastern Sudan in aspects of training, reconstruction, and development.
