Tokyo: The Embassy of Sudan in Tokyo participated with a comprehensive pavilion in the Japan Global Festival, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), on September 27-28.
According to Sudan News Agency, the festival featured the participation of several embassies in Tokyo, along with a large number of Japanese volunteer organizations working abroad and Japanese companies. The Sudanese pavilion showcased wall posters and displays about Sudan, in addition to agricultural and folkloric products, as well as traditional Sudanese cuisine. The pavilion attracted wide attention from festival visitors and served as an important opportunity to promote Sudanese culture and agricultural exports.
Sudan’s Ambassador to Japan, Al-Rayah Heidoub, attended the opening ceremony of the festival, which was addressed by representatives of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and JICA.
